Sometimes I feel like I’m struggling to stay on top of things, that in the space of a week’s relaxation my website would die out, my house would be filthy and messy, my friends and family would all vanish and I’d put on about a stone.

It sounds stupid, but the moment something is done to a fairly passable standard, it’s time to move on to something else. I’ve blogged and returned comments. Then I need to hoover. Then I need to do the washing up. Then I need to sleep. Then I need to go to work. Then I need to go to the gym and so on until I feel like my whole life is a series of barely completed yet never ending tasks.

Live for the weekend and a ‘break’, which usually involves me being exhausted and moody on the Friday night, feeling disappointed and disgruntled because it hasn’t been as good as the hype, then seeing friends/family, then the weekend suddenly vanishes, I haven’t done anything I wanted to do, spent too much money and I’m still tired and grumpy.

I need to tidy up!!

I need to tidy up!!
